What A Spread

In my home we leave the butter dish on the counter. I tend to keep the same knife with the butter for reuse. I couldn't stand that the knife had no convenient way to be stored with the butter. The lid would either be propped up from the knife handle or the  knife would fall off and end up on the counter.
I wanted to make my own dish that would solve this issue.
